POPULAR SERIES ON NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME (PART 1)

Who does not have NETFLIX OR PRIME account these days?

Being one of the biggest flooding services in the world, these platforms have altered the way we consume media. Whether you’re someone who always catches the newest thing, or watches the same over and over again, there’s always still the inevitable moment when you finish a series and that annoying feeling when you need something new to watch.

I’ve been using Netflix for at least two years at this point and it’s something I struggle with too often.
One thing that helps me when I’m struggling to find something to watch is searching for a blog post with their top Netflix shows.

So, with that being said, I thought I’d provide you with an updated list of some top Netflix shows (also available on Prime). These are either show I’ve binge-watched myself or plan to shortly. Chances are, you’ve probably watched some of these already, especially if you spend a lot of time on Netflix. If you haven’t, though, be sure to check them out.




PEAKY BLINDERS

I don’t even remember how I got into this show, but what I do know is that it’s bloody great in every aspect, acting, background music, the customs, detail, it’s just unique. It’s the story of the Shelby brothers, their business and how they deal with the police. It is an epic gangster drama set in the lawless streets of post-war Birmingham. Tommy Shelby is easily one of the most likeable antiheroes I have seen till now. His character is smart, savvy and equally ruthless and despite all, you will find yourself rooting for him throughout the show, no matter how terrible things he does, you always find yourself championing him or hoping for his success.

YOU

“YOU”, this series has stolen a million hearts already. The whole series revolves around the question; what can one do for love?
To be honest, as much as the show is thrilling, it is also disturbing at the same time. Many events take place in the first 3,4 episodes, it feels like an eternity.
Though it keeps you hooked up till the end, it starts to freak you out eventually. And why would not it? I mean someone is tapping your phone, keeping your boyfriend in his basement, later killing him and even holding you hostage in the name of love or for the sake of your safety. It will scare the brains out of any sane lady.
So, watching “YOU” is a must-have experience for all.


THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

This series is good for a start; if you are interested in supernatural things like vampires, werewolves, etc then I think you will love this show. The main plot of this show revolves around three main characters Damon, Elena and Stefan and how their lifelines are connected. Basically, you will enjoy this show but some of its seasons are so annoying and boring that you just want to skip them. Overall it is a good series but please make sure to watch it because the other series THE ORIGINALS is way more awesome than TVD; to watch THE ORIGINALS you have to watch TVD first to get some basic ideas about the leading characters of THE ORIGINALS.

THE ORIGINALS


Oh My God, THE ORIGINALS is beyond doubt one of the best supernatural shows I’ve watched till now. It has Less love drama, more about power among Vampires, Werewolves, Hybrids, and Witches. This show offers relatable content from Family above all to fall in love. This show takes you on a roller coaster and is never predictable. It is so much more exciting and has a lot of twists in it. Moreover, Klaus Mikaelson is one of my all-time favourite antiheroes. If you loved TVD, you will find THE ORIGINALS to be 10 times better than it.

 GOSSIP GIRL



Gossip Girl, a ruthless and mysterious blogger reveals secrets about teens in the Upper East Side, New York. With roller coaster romances and piles of secrets hiding away for Gossip Girl to find, this show is sure to bring the Upper East Side and its drama into your lives.
